DRAMA COMPETITION

Children of class 8th participated and won 3rd Prize in Inter High School Drama competition held at Bharati School of Excellence, K M Doddi, Mandya.

CBSE National SWIM MEET

Delhi Public School, Ranchi organised CBSE National level Swimming competition. In this competition our School bagged 5 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze medal. Dedeepya of class 8th won Bronze medal in Aquathlon. U/11 Boys won Over all Championship, U/14 and U/11 Girls won Second Runner Trophy.
Relay team created CBSE National Record in 4 events:
U/14 Girls-
4x100 mtrs Freestyle Relay with the timing of 4:48:01.
4x100 mrts Medley Relay with the timing of 5:29:18. 
U/11 Boys-
4x50 mtrs Freestyle Relay with the timing of 2:21:58.
4x50 mtrs Medley Relay with the timing of 2:34:52

PRATIGNA SWEEKAR SAMARAMBH

“Success doesn’t come and find you. You have to go out and get it”. Pratigna Sweekar Samarambh is a prestigious event wherein the school entrusts responsibities on the elected leaders to discharge their duties honestly and sincerely. It also marks the  significant beginning of the new academic year.

The school cabinet consisting of Captain and Vice Captain were elected by students of class 5th to 10th in a democratic manner by casting their votes for the nominated candidate on 6th of June 2018.

Pratigna Sweekar Samarambh of the elected Captains and Vice- Captains was administered on 11th June 2018. The guest of honour for the occasion was Smt. A. M. Nalini Kumari, presently working as a senior civil judge. She handed over the badges to the newly elected Captains & Vice Captains and congratulated them. She, in her motivational speech spoke about the leadership qualities one should possess and shared some motivational stories of great leaders. She urged the leaders to stand on the oath . The oath was administered by Pradhanacharya Smt.  Manjula.

VIDYAARAMBHA

Aksharabhyasa,the auspicious beginning of formal learning for the tiny tots of Pre Primary students (Montessori to LKG) and Prathamapata from UKG to 8thStd was celebrated on 27th May 2018.

The occasion was graced by Sri Nishtananda Swamiji, serving at Ramakrishna Matt,Ulsoor.  Students and parents were present to receive his blessings.

The other dignitaries present on the occasion were Sri Dinesh Hegde, Smt. Manjula, Pradhanacharya and Smt. Pushpalatha, Pramukh Gokulam. The day started with SaraswathiHoma and GanaHoma followed by Poornahuthi in the presence of Swamiji and other dignitaries.

Swamiji initiated the children to the world of knowledge by chanting a Saraswati shloka. The little ones seated on parents lap were guided to write on rice using the turmeric stick.

Speaking on the occasion, Swamiji stressed on the importance of spending time with children in a productive way and said that parents and teachers should become the role models to children as children try to follow or imitate them.
